Laura Zahren is a Director in the Direct Tax Advisory team at BDO Luxembourg, specialising in Alternative Investments, with a particular focus on private equity, real estate, infrastructure and private debt.
With more than 13 years of experience in Luxembourg, Laura advises international fund managers, investors and multinational groups on cross-border tax structuring, reorganisations and investment structures. Before joining BDO Luxembourg, she spent 13 years with KPMG Luxembourg and started her career with the German tax administration.
Beyond her advisory role, Laura is actively engaged in Luxembourg’s private equity community. She is Co-Chair of LPEA’s PE4W committee and is passionate about connecting people, fostering professional networks and promoting greater visibility and diversity within the alternative investment industry.
