Bio
Bart van Dijk is Managing Director, Head of Europe at ILPA — the global voice of the LP community, representing the world's leading institutional investors in private markets and setting the standards on transparency, governance and alignment of interests between LPs and GPs.
Based between London and the Netherlands, Bart leads ILPA's European strategy and operations, serves on ILPA's global leadership team, and contributes to Board discussions across North America and Europe.
He represents ILPA at the highest levels across the region — engaging LPs, GPs, policymakers, industry associations and press — and leads the European Advisory Council. A Big 4 (PwC, EY) tax and corporate lawyer by training, Bart brings over 20 years of experience in global financial services across tax, legal, fund and corporate services, with senior commercial, business development and leadership roles across the industry, including at CSC and Vistra.
He has led business units and teams, served as independent director on boards of PE-backed companies alongside some of the world's leading investment firms, and holds dual Master's degrees in Tax Law and Corporate and Financial Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
