Gilles Moreau is a seasoned financial services executive with deep expertise in depositary services, fund operations, and regulatory affairs across Luxembourg and the broader European market.
Since joining Alter Domus in 2023, Gilles has held progressively senior roles, reflecting his strong leadership and extensive industry knowledge. He currently serves as Head of Depositary EMEA, overseeing the firm's depositary activities across the region. In addition, he serves as Conducting Officer of Alter Domus Fund Services Luxembourg and as Manager of both Alter Domus Depositary Ireland and Alter Domus Depositary UK.
Before joining Alter Domus, Gilles spent a significant part of his career at RBC, where he served as Managing Director, Client Operations Luxembourg and Continental Europe. In this role, he was the senior regulatory contact for key institutions including the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Single Resolution Board (SRB), led all European operational activities, and served as business lead for the firm's most significant European clients.
Gilles holds a Master's Degree in Finance, Banking and Insurance from IUP-Sciences Financières Universitaires Nancy. He is also a certified ESG Advisor through the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA), reflecting his commitment to sustainable finance and responsible investment practices.
