Bio
Thomas is mainly responsible for legal due diligence and contract review of investment opportunities for both the European and the US Divisions of Global Brain. He is also leading efforts for the structuring of VC funds for his firm outside of Japan.
Global Brain is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan but also has offices in Kyoto, USA, UK, EU, South Korea and Singapore with a total headcount of over 150 people. With over US$2.7B AUM currently, it made over 160 investments last year and realised significant exits with 5 IPOs and 10 M&A deals over the same period.
Prior to joining Global Brain, Thomas worked for more than 12 years for the Luxembourg, Singapore and London offices of international law firms active in BeNeLux, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
During his free time, Thomas likes to travel and to collect Whisky from different countries. He loves walking his dog (also named Whisky) with his wife and kids and likes listening to Jazz and Bossa Nova.
