Bio
Petr is a General Partner at Rockaway Ventures, a venture capital fund of Rockaway Capital. He invests from seed to Series A in applied AI, industrial and robotics, and defence and dual-use technology, backing European founders with global ambitions.
Rockaway Capital is a Prague-based investment group with more than €1bn in assets under management across private equity, venture capital, blockchain and defence. Since 2014 its funds have backed six technology unicorns, including Productboard, Solana or Wonderful.
Petr is also a Founding Partner of the European Startup Embassy in San Francisco, a landing pad for European founders entering the US market.
Before venture, he spent eleven years at Google, where he took Google Pay from zero to millions of users across CEE and launched YouTube Premium in 15 markets. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he was an Engagement Manager serving clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Petr holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a CEMS Master's in International Management, and completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at UC Berkeley.
